Trump is chaos incarnate. The world is trying to live without the US and will make the country totally irrelevant eventually. That will be catastrophic for the American people.

That's one opinion, but it's obvious that the Section 122 tariffs are completely illegal. The IEEPA tariffs were struck down already and Section 122 tariffs are not some get out of jail card that can be used as Trump sees fit. People are acting like Trump can just do as he pleases when the Supreme Court has just struck down the basis for his entire IEEPA tariff policy. Section 122 tariffs have a legal basis and Trump is not using them in accordance with their legislative purpose. The assumption that he can just make shit up and everybody will get in line does not fit the facts.
In fact, it's quite the opposite. He's starting a war to distract from his failed tariff policy and the increasingly incriminating role in the Epstein child molestation crime ring. To any trading partner, it's clear that this individual is not a representative of the US public and is a rogue criminal who should be ignored until his own people take him out.
