Denon multi-room speakers have three new models starting at $399

Brief

Denon expanded its home audio lineup with three new multi-room speakers aimed at the Sonos market, combining HEOS app-based control with Dolby Atmos support on the higher-end models. The main differentiators are driver count and acoustic architecture: the $599 Home 400 introduces upward-firing height channels, while the $799 Home 600 moves to an eight-driver design with dedicated amplification per driver for tighter control and fuller room-filling sound.

Why it matters

Denon launched three new HEOS-based multi-room speakers on 2026-03-24: the Home 200 for $399, Home 400 for $599, and Home 600 for $799; the system supports linking up to 64 devices and competes with Sonos.

Key details

  • The Home 200 includes three 0.98-inch tweeters and a 4-inch woofer; the Home 400 adds Dolby Atmos with two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 5.5-inch woofers, six amplifiers, and two 1-inch upward-firing drivers.
  • The Home 600 uses an eight-driver array with dual 6.5-inch woofers, two tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and two upward-pointing drivers, while all three models support Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, AUX, and iOS integration.

Denon has upgraded its multiroom speaker system with three new models starting at $399. The ecosystem competes directly with Sonos by allowing up to 64 devices to be interconnected throughout your home …

The new models are the Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600.

The $399 Home 200 wireless smart speaker delivers rich stereo sound and immersive Dolby Atmos Music. Powered by HEOS for centralized app-based streaming and control, it’s easy to set up and perfect for any room in your home.

The $599 Home 400 wireless smart speaker delivers Dolby Atmos Music, enveloping you in rich, expansive sound that reveals every nuance. Built-in dual height speakers add a lifelike vertical dimension for a more immersive soundstage, while HEOS makes set-up and streaming simple.

The $799 Home 600’s custom engineered eight-driver array with built-in subwoofers and height speakers delivers full, detailed audio that fills your space. Each driver is powered by its own amplifier for precise control and balance.

The company told Engadget that the new speakers are also designed to have a warmer, friendlier, less techy look.

These new devices were also designed so that they blend in with home decor better than most speakers, coming in stone and charcoal color options for that purpose.

In terms of specs, the Home 200 gives you three 0.98-inch tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. The 400 comprises two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 5.5-inch woofers, and six amplifiers, as well as two one-inch upward pointing drivers. The 600 has dual 6.5-inch woofers with two tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and two upward-pointing ones.

In addition to supporting the iOS platform, all three speakers have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C and AUX connectivity.

The speakers are available now from the company’s official Amazon store. Check out the gallery below for more photos, and look out for an upcoming video review of the Home 200.
