Brief

@0x1ee7 argues that renewed Federal Reserve liquidity support is already underway under euphemisms like 'stealth QE' and will be absorbed by markets as a bullish signal. The thread ties that view to expected regional-bank stress, the limited impact of ending already-small QT, and a prediction that the Fed will ultimately restart aggressive QE, which the author sees as supportive for crypto and evidence the cycle top has not yet occurred.

Why it matters

@0x1ee7 claimed on 2025-12-10 that quantitative easing had effectively returned, arguing policymakers were relabeling it as 'not QE' or 'stealth QE' and that this should be interpreted as bullish liquidity support.

Key details

  • The author argued renewed easing is not bearish for crypto and explicitly said 'the top is not in,' framing any balance-sheet expansion as an 'up only' signal for risk assets.
  • In the referenced earlier post, @0x1ee7 said regional banks would be the first failures in a crisis, that quantitative tightening had already been reduced so much that merely stopping QT or using Treasury buybacks would not matter, and that the Fed would be forced into aggressive QE.

Said this for weeks now, QE is finally back on the menu today. The key signs to go all in is when they call it “not QE” or “stealth QE” or whatever bs names. The only thing it means is up only.

There is no reason why this would be bearish for crypto. The top is not in.

Regional banks are the first to go under during a crisis

QT is already so little that stopping it will simply not be enough to make any difference, neither are the stealth treasury buybacks.

The fed will have no choice but to start QE again and very aggressively. Their back is against the wall and they know this.

The markets will soon digest this. Few.
