State Appeals Judge Pedro Colón is reported to be planning a bid for the state Supreme Court to join the liberal majority; @philipthedude (2026-04-23) doubts Colón's chances this cycle and suggests he may instead run against Justice Hagedorn in 2029, arguing Hagedorn is unbeatable by the left. Lyndsey Brunette announced a campaign the prior week.
