Levie (2026-05-02) contends that accountability is a hard constraint on automating workflows: even if AI agents can perform tasks, humans remain accountable. Agents will compress roles (PMs coding, engineers spec’ing), but gains are bounded by the cognitive context required for each job; AI will both blur some boundaries and amplify specialization.
On 2026-05-02 @levie argued accountability is a finite limit on organizational automation: when an AI agent performs work, the human who delegates or uses the agent remains responsible for that output.
