The rent is too damn high in San Francisco.
Prices are going up 15% year over year. A one bedroom averaging $3500 a month.
This month I'll be introducing an affordability package at the Board of Supervisors. Legislation that will both make it easier to build more housing for new renters to live in, as well as advance rental transparency and eviction protections to make it easier for existing renters to stay here.
