Hmm I searched for this tweet bc I was thinking today how the triage itself is supposed to be geometric (in most cases IMO) more than I was realizing in part bc doing it any other way is expensive in terms of orientation costs afaict

But OTOH, I think triaging is quite important too, and contra many straw (weak?) perspectives on “surrender”, IME:
-LIMA (jargon I’m copying meaning “least intrusive minimally aversive”) triage is a real and important art
-and in fact (at least given the current state of cultural knowledge and collective competence), LIMA triage is cognitively expensive in particular
